Kelly Preston, Real Dogs Don't Whisper

Kelly Preston's Real Dogs Don't Whisper...Life lessons from a larger than life dog! (and his owner) tells the true story of a remarkable family as told in a unique way by both Kelly Preston and her spunky, hilarious, nine-year old Lhasa Apso, Mr. MaGoo! This custom Wordpress website highlights the playfulness and tenderness of the book with a simple design that focuses on the characters. Visitors can purchase the book, sign up for a newsletter, and watch for local book signings and appearances by the authors on the site.

My Expiration Date, Jim Plante

Power Gardening, Caroline Yourcheck

How To Dismantle an Atomic Tour

Jim Quick is using this website to connect with an agent or publisher for his new book How to Dismantle and Atomic Tour. Because Jim's audience is music fans of U2 and Radiohead, we created a site reflective of the rock-and-roll mindset.
Joe Bruno

Joe Bruno's site was built to promote all his work, but focus the home page on his latest ebook Find Big Fat Fanny Fast. Because social media plays an important role in promoting Joe's ebooks, blogs, and ezine articles, we included a Facebook feed on the home page to encourage visitors to follow Joe and interact with the author directly.
Clyde W. Payne, G.S Payne

The Paynes, father and son, who share a love of history, collaborated on this fictional account of the Andersonville Prison camp during the American Civil War. The Web site serves as a marketing tool to find publishers or agents interested in the book.
poetrysoundideas.com

B.Eugene McCarthy and Francis C. Quinn authored Sound Ideas, a unique book outlining the use of listening and speaking as a method of teaching poetry. They are currently looking for a publisher. I chose vibrant blue/green and orange colors to mimic the physical energy involved in speaking and listening to poetry. I kept the layout simple, with plenty of white space to not only give it a professional, academic feeling but to imitate the space and breadth of a poem on the page.
lindarprior.com

Linda R. Prior promotes her copywriting, editing and proofreading services via her new professional Web site. The signature flower pot, which appears on each page, draws attention to her name and contact information.
FranQuinnWorkshops.com

Fran Quinn teaches poetry workshops across the country and offers private tutoring. He needed a Web site to promote his workshops, allow for registration and connect with students wanting to learn more. Most of the content was adapted from his workshop brochures. The tone of the site needed to reflect Fran's expertise and look inviting to poets. I chose a deep brown color scheme, simple layout and clean page design to achieve this.
"So many people have commented on how beautiful the web site is that I guess it's not just my ego that believes it. I have for years been using a brochure which from what I can gather, has produced two participants over a 5-year period. But the website has been so effective that all the participants in the Chicago workshop have come from the website alone, not to mention several in New York, Boston and Indianapolis. What more can one ask? Thanks for your talents."
~ Fran Quinn, Director of Poetry Workshops
David Hoppe: Writer

David Hoppe is an award-winning columnist and editor who writes about culture and politics for NUVO, the alternative weekly in Indianapolis, Indiana. A writer of poetry, fiction and children's stories as well as nonfiction, David needed a way to showcase his wide writing experience with excerpts of his longer works and links to his weekly columns. A Web site organized by genre provides a clean, easy-to-use presentation of his many talents.
Julianna Thibodeaux

Julianna Thibodeaux is a writer and visual artist. She needed a new Web site to highlight all her work and integrate with her blog. Julianna's strong connection to nature and motherhood are brought to life in this soft, image-centric site.
donasjohn.com

The DonasJohn.com Web site design draws on the simplicity and beauty of Donas John's book The Doves of Winter. Deep and sharply contrasting colors were used to help focus visitor attention on the selling point of the site: excerpts from the book. The information/purchase box is presented on every page of the site to allow for easy purchase.
